THE PRESENTATION OF TURKMENISTAN TOOK PLACE IN JAPAN

On February 12, 2016, under the program of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan and the announcement in 2016 as the "Year of honoring the Heritage, transforming the Motherland" the presentation of Turkmenistan has been organized in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.

The event was attended by representatives of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and a number of tourist companies in Japan. Participants were given information leaflets and materials in English and Japanese languages. There was also an exhibition of photographs and books telling about the great success of our state.

During the presentation of the videofilm were shown, as well as there have been made presentations by Japanese participants, who previously visited Turkmenistan. They told about the huge tourism potential of Turkmenistan and expressed interest in the development of full cooperation in this area. In this regard, the representative of JATA also expressed hope for participation of the Turkmen side at an annual JATA World Tourism Fair, to be held in September 2016.

At the end of the event the tea party and the traditional feast for participants was arranged by the Embassy.
