A series of educational sessions dedicated to the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi has been organized in middle schools and higher educational institutions in Japan

As part of the year “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi”, dedicated to the life and work of the great thinker and classic of the East Magtymguly Fragi, as well as in order to promote the international celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the poet, on the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan on March 15, 2024 at the capital university Tsukuba and Higashiosaka High School held a series of educational sessions and an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the poet and his contribution to the national heritage.

The event also included a report by Tsukuba University student M.Geldyeva on the main aspects of the domestic and foreign policies of Turkmenistan and Osaka University student Kyoku Sh.Shamuradova, who gave lectures on various aspects of the humanitarian views and personality of the Turkmen classic.

Japanese students and pupils actively participated in these events, thereby expanding knowledge about Turkmenistan and contributing to the development and deepening of cultural ties between the countries.

As part of this cycle of educational sessions, an exhibition dedicated to the works of Magtymguly Fragi and the national heritage of Turkmenistan was also organized in the University of Tsukuba.
