The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting of international participants of the World Expo-2025 exhibition

From 25 to 26 June 2024, a delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations B. Gochmollaev, took part in Japan in a meeting of international participants of the World Expo 2025 dedicated to preparations for the upcoming event next year in Osaka. The main topics of the meeting were organisational aspects of the exhibition, including preparation of national pavilions and planning of events.

On the margins of the event, members of the Turkmen delegation met with Ichinoki Manatsu, Deputy Secretary General of the World Exhibition Association of Japan EXPO-2025.

In the continuation of the meeting, they discussed the construction and preparation of Turkmenistan's pavilion, as well as upcoming plans and tasks related to the organisation of the exhibition. The Japanese side expressed gratitude to Turkmenistan for the efficient organisation of works and fulfilment of all tasks in time, noting the high level of preparation of the country for participation in Expo-2025.

In addition, as part of the visit, members of the Turkmen delegation visited the site of the upcoming exhibition, located on Yumeshima Island, and familiarised themselves with the construction of the National Pavilion.
