Prime Minister of Japan expressed the intention to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan
The Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba, has sent a letter to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing his sincere gratitude for congratulations and kind words on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister.
In his address, Shigeru Ishiba noted that Turkmenistan is an important strategic partner of Japan in building a free and open international order based on the rule of law. He emphasised that cooperation between the two countries is deepening in various fields, including economy, science and culture.
The Prime Minister also expressed hope to meet with the President of Turkmenistan during his visit to the World Expo 2025 in Osaka next year.
