The President of Turkmenistan received the head of “Toyo Engineering Corporation”

On September 28, 2025, during the festivities of the holiday horse races, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow received Eiji Hosoi, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Representative Director of the Japanese company “Toyo Engineering Corporation,” who arrived in our country to participate in the ceremonies dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.

Expressing gratitude for being received despite a busy schedule, the businessman sincerely congratulated the Head of State on the occasion of the Independence Day and highlighted the significant contributions of the esteemed President and the Hero Arkadag to the development of Turkmen-Japanese relations.

Warmly welcoming the guest, the Head of State emphasized that since the early years of Independence, friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan have been successfully developing in various fields, including oil and gas, chemicals, construction, and other sectors. The programs being implemented in our country and the favorable conditions created for investments serve as a foundation for expanding cooperation. In this context, the President noted the important role of major Japanese companies, including “Toyo Engineering Corporation,” in further developing and enhancing this partnership.

As noted during the meeting, relations between Turkmenistan and Japan are of a long-term strategic nature. Japanese companies contribute significantly to realizing the economic potential of both countries. Effective cooperation has been established with “Toyo Engineering Corporation” in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. A clear example of this is the construction and commissioning of a large gas chemical complex — a polymer plant — in Kiyanly with the participation of this company. Expressing gratitude for the favorable conditions created for operating effectively in the Turkmen market, the businessman affirmed that his company is always ready to continue contributing to Turkmenistan’s economic development.

Taking into account the economic development programs and industrial reforms being implemented in Turkmenistan, the Head of State highlighted the potential for expanding cooperation into new areas in the future and expressed readiness to consider the company’s specific proposals.

Eiji Hosoi assured that he would make every effort to live up to the great trust placed in his company.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow expressed confidence that the mutually beneficial cooperation would continue to develop further and wished the head of “Toyo Engineering Corporation” success in his work.
