Opening ceremony of the gas chemical complex in Kiyanly takes place with the participation of the president of Turkmenistan
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Balkan Velayat on a working visit, attended the opening ceremony of the gas chemical complex in Kiyanly – the largest polyethylene and polypropylene production plant in the region.
Folklore performances were arranged near yurts installed along the way to the plant. An exposition of works of the national decorative and applied arts, traditional folk crafts, museum exhibits were arranged at the venue for the celebrations, where the artistic groups of Balkan Velayat presented their performances.
At the entrance to the complex, the President of Turkmenistan cut the symbolic ribbon, opening the polymer plant under the storm of applause of those preset and headed to the building, where he addressed the ceremony participants.
The high-ranking officials, deputies of the Mejlis, heads of ministries and sectoral departments, public organizations, the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, foreign companies, the representatives of the national and foreign media, the representatives of the LG International Corporation, Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd, Toyo Engineering, Çalik Holding among others attended the ceremony.
