The President of Turkmenistan inspects construction of facilities in business part of the capital

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a tour around the capital, having inspected the situation at big construction sites.

The Head of the State holds realization of large-scale reforms expanded in Ashgabat and around the country under personal control paying special attention to creation of optimum conditions for life of people, wide implementation of advanced technologies and provision of ecological wealth.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspects course of construction of different facilities, realization of the projects of development of the city, modernization of engineering and technical, road and transport infrastructure regularly.

Today, the Head of the State has looked around new facilities, which are built in the south of Ashgabat where new administrative and business centre is under construction. It includes complexes of buildings of the People’s Council and Congress Centre of Turkmenistan, fashionable hotel and the Government tribune.

In the morning, the President arrived in the place of construction of complex of buildings of the People’s Council.

At present time, construction of facilities is carried out at high rates based on the latest achievements in this sphere and modern construction.

Projects allowing having visual impression about design, interiors and furnishing of the complex have been demonstrated at this place. Representative of French Bouygues introduced drawings and sketches demonstrating mainly decoration of the building.

Speaking of importance of provision of the complex with modern including digital technologies, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has focused on the necessity of systematic approach to making of conditions for fruitful work and organization of mass events on the highest level.

Having expressed interest in special features and aesthetic characteristics of decorative materials, the President studied presented projects. Having made number of remarks and corrections, the Head of the State highlighted that special attention has to be paid to the quality during construction works.

The President of Turkmenistan noted that local natural landscape has to be taken into consideration during construction of facilities in this part of the city

Having focused on décor of the building and different means used in this place, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov requested to provide high level of quality of works and compliance with set requirements, having highlighted that used materials have to be distinguished with durability and endurance. It was also noted that the complex has to have bright national colours.

After, the Head of the State went to the complex of buildings of the Congress Centre. Having studied in details each of presented projects and pictures of decoration, the President of Turkmenistan ordered the contractor to provide highest construction standards and quality of works, timely completion and commissioning of facilities of the complex.

Big building of the Congress Centre occupies 47,464 square meters. Its height is 38.65 meters, width – 190 meters. The building is located on the area of 93.7 thousand square meters. All facilities of the structure of the complex have common architectural solution making a single ensemble.

Continuing inspection, the President noted that Ashgabat has become a place of big forums of regional and global character in the last years; therefore, all new facilities have to meet high international standards.

In this regard, it is necessary to provide all conditions for organization of various events, international conferences in the building of the Congress Centre. It is necessary to pay special attention to decoration and provision of the complex taking into account its functionality.

The President of Turkmenistan noted that use of the best world practice and achievements in architectural sphere, modern construction and decorative materials are very important from aesthetic and ecological point of view.

After, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected works at the construction of the Reception centre, which is a part of the complex.

Having noted that it is also necessary to pay special attention to qualitative characteristics of construction and decorative materials, use of elements of national décor, the Head of the State made number of specific recommendation in this context. At the same time, instructions for development and planting of the territory around the complex have been given.

Integrated urban construction programme as well as strategy of social and economic development of Ashgabat is oriented to solution of set objectives based on innovative approaches, use of advanced technologies and developments. Speaking of this, the Head of the State highlighted again that taking into account the expansion of construction, it is necessary to pay special attention to provision of high quality of facilities and special features of national architecture.

Targeted and well-thought operation, establishment of social and living, engineering and technical, transport and communication infrastructure have to be considered during construction of new facilities.

Having continued his tour, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to fashionable Arkadag Hotel, which is built between Archabyl and Chandybil Avenues. Drafts and drawings reflecting special features of décor of the hotel complex and details of its provision have been presented to the attention of the Head of the State.

Inspecting situation at the facility, the President noted that provision of high quality of works, organic combination of modern trends with the best traditions of national architecture are the main criteria during construction of the hotel.

This requirement including compliance with ecological standards is targeted to achievements of profile science, Turkmen leader said, and is related to all buildings and facilities under construction. Taking into account the specification of the hotel, it has to meet international standards by all indicators.

Having focused on decoration of premises and design of interior of the hotel rooms, the Head of the State highlighted that it is necessary to use elements of national décor and other exclusive details. At the same time, conditions made in the hotel complex have to meet the requirements for similar facilities.

New hotel has to impress the guests with its architectural image, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, having directed to hold the works at the facility under proper control.

After, the Head of the State went to the location of new Government tribune.

Having looked around the facility, which area is 20.450 square meters, the President of the country noted that the facility would host major events, which provides the necessity to make all conditions for organization of celebration events on high level. In addition, wide view of Turkmen capital is opened from this place.

Special attention has to be paid to the décor of the tribune and development of surrounding territory taking into account ecological aspect, the Head of the State said, having given specific assignments to relative officials.

Continuing the inspection of works for development of the capital, Turkmen leader looked around the projects of tree planting and further improvement of ecological condition of the city, having made number of remarks and relative corrections.

Urban construction programme in Ashgabat is aimed at systematic improvement of social and living conditions of the people. Therefore, special attention is paid to the projects, which are focused on ecological component.

The Head of the State noted that measures taken in this direction are aimed at the formation of favourable ecological environment, which makes positive influence on health of the population.

Turkmen leader highlighted that the facilities under construction are to decorate architectural appearance of Ashgabat and addressed assignments related to development of the city and support of proper condition.

Having accomplished working tour around the capital, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished success in solution of set objectives and left the place of event.
