REPRESENTATIVES OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER (ITC) DISCUSSED THE JOINT PROJECT

On April 23, 2020, a meeting in a videoconference format was held in the premises of the MFA of Turkmenistan on the discussion of the Project of the International Trade Center “Central Asia: readiness to trade – Assistance to interregional and international trade in Central Asia” financed by the European Union.   

The representatives of the corresponding ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, including the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Central Bank of Turkmenistan participated to the event.  The international experts of the ITC participated to the meeting through videoconferencing.    

The participants discussed the key components of the ITC project that has started in January of the current year, exchanged views on the development of the plan on the implementation of the given project aimed at strengthening of the national potential in the field of trade, promotion of competitiveness and adoption of new trade strategies, including those for the private sector.
