Implementation of the Programme of social and economic development of Turkmenistan is a subject of a meeting
At the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Cabinet of Ministers has held a session with participation of the Vice-premiers, who are in charge of the regions of the country, agricultural, financial and economic, oil and gas, transport, trade and textile complexes as well as heads of the regions, Minister of Agriculture and Natural Protection, Chairman of the State Water Management Committee.
During the session, the utmost objectives related to fulfilment of the Pro-gramme of social and economic development of Turkmenistan in 2019 – 2025 and fur-ther improvement of activity of agricultural complex outlined by the Head of the State at the session of the Government on August 27 have been discussed.
Preparation and organized conduct of coming important seasonal campaigns – sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest, have also been reviewed.
The participants of the session have analyzed the course of reforms, which important vector is a transfer to new forms of management targeted at market relations and wide attraction of private producers to the industry.
In this context, matters related to increment of volumes of various agricultural production including in livestock sphere as well as potato and other vegetables, for which additional lands have been given in each region this year, have been discussed in details.
Special attention has been paid to such subjects as efficient use of special agri-cultural land funds established in the regions, construction of new poultry and livestock complexes, agricultural processing facilities and hothouse farms, provision of beneficial bank credits to entrepreneurs. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has outlined complex of objectives in further development of chemical industry, which provides farmers with necessary mineral ferti-lizers, which has also been reflected in the agenda of the meeting with participation of the heads of profile structures.
At the same time, plans of further work on introduction of modern technolo-gies to agricultural industry, rational use of water resources, and transfer to electronic management system have been outlined.
During the session, working schedules and activities related to sowing of win-ter crops and cotton harvest, efficient use of highly productive machines and equipment procured recently for the needs of agricultural complex, making of conditions for pro-ductive work of farmers, timely settlement of payments with cotton growers for pro-duced cotton the state have been specified.
At the same time, situation at construction sites of facilities, which are planned to be commissioned this year under fulfilment of National Programme of improvement of social and living conditions of the population has been discussed. The participants of the session have assured the Head of the State that they would put all efforts for suc-cessful solution of all set objectives.
