NEGOTIATIONS OF THE CO-CHAIRS OF THE JOINT TURKMEN-CHINESE COMMITTEE FOR COOPERATION

On March 30, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov, during his working visit to China, held talks via videoconference with Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng.

The parties noted the high level of strategic partnership relations between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China, emphasizing that the main factor in their deepening and development is the open, friendly and constructive political dialogue established at the highest state level.

In this context and in order to fulfill the agreements reached between the leaders of Turkmenistan and China, R.Meredov and Han Zheng exchanged views on the progress of their implementation.

At the same time, the high dynamics of bilateral ties in the political and diplomatic sphere, in such areas of economic cooperation as the gas industry, trade, transport and communications, and high technology were emphasized.

During the online meeting, a number of specific proposals were made aimed at expanding Turkmen-Chinese relations.
