PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN RECEIVED AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
On May 4, 2022, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Askar Tazhibayev, who presented his credentials to the Head of state.
Expressing sincere gratitude for the time taken, the diplomat conveyed to the President of Turkmenistan warm greetings from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Thanking for the kind words and conveying greetings and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of the country, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a responsible post and wished him success in the field of further strengthening multifaceted interstate cooperation.
During the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan and the Ambassador exchanged views on the prospects for interstate cooperation, built on the principles of mutual respect and support, as well as having great potential.
At the same time, it was emphasized that our states are important strategic partners, as evidenced by the solid legal base of bilateral relations, as well as the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakhstan Commission on Economic, Scientific-technical and Cultural Cooperation.
In conclusion, the President of the Turkmen State once again wished the diplomat great success in his work aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
