AN EVENT DEVOTED TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE OF TURKMENISTAN HELD IN JAPAN

On January 27, 2016, in honor of the announcement of 2016 as the "The Year of honoring Heritage, transforming the Fatherland", as well as in honor of the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan, Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, held a presentation of Turkmenistan in the Tokyo High School Shinjuku Ritsu Kashiwagi with the participation of teachers and students.

At the beginning of the meeting it was explained in detail about the beautiful natural sight-seeing places of Turkmenistan, gorgeous handmade Turkmen carpets, about the national jewelry and the national Turkmen cuisine and dishes. Then the officers of the Embassy had given detailed answers to the questions of the students of the school. Great interest among the audience caused an exhibition of national souvenirs and photographs about Turkmenistan, organized by the Embassy.

Also during the event, students of the school made an appearance with various dances and songs.
