Issues of cooperation in the fields of science and high technologies were discussed

On July 3, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A.Bayramov met with the Head of the Japan-Turkmen Association for Scientific and Technical Cooperation H.Koinuma, Prof. Emeritus of the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

During the talks, the positive dynamics of Turkmen-Japanese collaboration in the area of science, education and technology was highlighted. The parties stated the necessity for further intensification of mutual cooperation on education.

In particular, opportunities for co-operation on the creation of high-tech scientific industries and the use of digital technologies were discussed. In this regard, the parties pointed out the areas of effective cooperation between Turkmen and Japanese universities related to the use of high technologies. With the aim of overall strengthening of ties among the higher institutions of specialized education, the parties agreed to continue further active participation in joint meetings and seminars.
