On March 5, 2026, the 14th Tokyo Dialogue on "Preservation of Traditional Culture and its Use in Industrial Development and International Activities" was held in Tokyo. It was organized by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue.

T. Gurbanova, Head of the creative association "Design Plus" (UNESCO), and representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan attended to the Tokyo Dialogue.

Along with delegations from Central Asian countries, the event was attended by Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Eri Alfiya and other leading representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, professors and teachers from Japanese universities, experts interested in Central Asian countries, and representatives of the embassies of Central Asian countries in Tokyo.

The 14th Tokyo Dialogue of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue is an open symposium featuring experts and specialists aimed at developing cooperation between Japan and the countries of Central Asia. The meeting was held to concretely advance the expansion of cultural exchanges, as envisaged in the Tokyo Declaration, adopted by the leaders of Japan and the five Central Asian countries following the first summit of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue, held in Tokyo last December. Participants from Central Asia and Japanese experts exchanged views on the topic of "Preserving Traditional Culture and Its Use in Industrial Development and International Activities."
