Meeting held between Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan and newly appointed Head of Japan business association ROTOBO

On August 17, 2026, a meeting was held between Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A. Bayramov and newly appointed President of the Japan business association ROTOBO Mr. Y. Kanehana to discuss issues related to the further development of bilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the 16th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committees for Economic Cooperation, scheduled to be held in Tokyo on December 14–16, 2026.

In addition, the participants exchanged views on projects in the field of the circular economy, which represents one of the new areas of bilateral economic cooperation.
