THE EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN TURKEY HELD A BRIEFING IN HONOR OF THE YEAR “THE EPOCH OF THE PEOPLE WITH ARKADAG”

On February 15, 2022, in Ankara, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey held a briefing for representatives of the media and the local public organizations in honor of the announcement of the motto of 2022 - “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag” and familiarization with the achievements of Turkmenistan.

The briefing was attended by Chief Adviser to the President of Turkey Yalchyn Topcu, Head of the Turkish-Turkmen Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Turkish Parliament Ibrahim Aydemir and a number of deputies, Deputy Hyakim of the Etimesgut etrap of Ankara Alaatdin Sonat, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of the country, representatives of foreign embassies and representative offices of international organizations operating in the country, heads of public organizations, as well as representatives of Turkish companies and the media.

At the beginning of the event, the participants were shown videos related to the announcement of the motto of 2022 - “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag”, showing the achievements of the country, as well as introducing the history and culture of Turkmenistan.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey spoke about the multifaceted work carried out in the country under the leadership of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, as well as the successes achieved in various fields over the years of Independence. He also informed the participants about the socio-political event of great importance held recently in the country - about the extraordinary meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan and about the National Program of development of the country for 2022-2052 and other important documents adopted during it.

Also, the Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey Yalchyn Topcu, deputies Ibrahim Aydemir and Bedri Yashar and other speakers in their speeches noted that they wish friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey to develop successfully in the new year - “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag” and, that bilateral fraternal relations, which are of great importance, be further expanded and strengthened.

In addition, during the event, an exhibition of cultural values ​​​​of the people and works of the esteemed President was organized.
