A ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN TURKMENISTAN AND RUSSIA

On April 11, 2022, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, together with the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, held a round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Russia.

The rectors of IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan (in online format) and MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, heads of diplomatic missions of a number of foreign states accredited in the Russian Federation, the teaching staff of two universities took part in the solemn event.

In the presentations, it was noted that Turkmenistan, implementing a peaceful foreign policy, consistently follows the principles of universal peace, good neighborliness, mutual respect and equality.

All speeches reflected the importance of the status of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, the role and place of our state in ensuring world peace, security and sustainable development were especially noted.
