ADVISOR OF JICA VISITED TURKMENISTAN TO WORK OUT ISSUES OF COOPERATION IN THE TOURISM SECTOR

Counsellor of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on tourism promotion Ms. Yumi Mizumori recently visited Turkmenistan. 

Her visit had several objectives. In particular, supporting a Japanese correspondent in covering tourist routes in Turkmenistan, as well as visiting tourist facilities and infrastructure and holding meetings with travel agencies in the country.

156 BOOKS WERE DONATED TO THE STATE LIBRARY OF TURKMENISTAN WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE READ JAPAN PROJECT

The State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan was donated 156 books within the framework of the Read Japan project, which is implemented by The Nippon Foundation of Japan.

As reported in the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper, the books are in English and their topics are related to the culture, history, economy, modern and popular art of Japan.
