THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN SERDAR BERDIMUHAMEDOV WAS AWARDED THE ARKADAG MEDAL OF TURKMENISTAN
The ceremony of awarding the Arkadag medal to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was held today at the Presidential Palace Complex "Oguzhan" in honour of the Day of Healthcare Workers and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
The Arkadag Medal is a state award of Turkmenistan and was established with the aim of broad support of humane initiatives, respect for the achieved merits, accumulated experience, growing international prestige of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, established on a voluntary basis in accordance with the principles of ancestors, national traditions of Turkmens, such as justice, humanity, humanity, love of humanity, high morality, charity, assistance to children in need of care, with the support of the Government of Turkmenistan.
The award is given to persons who have made a worthy contribution to the successful implementation of the state's humane social policy, the protection of social rights, health rights and the legitimate interests of human beings and citizens, for their services in realising the rights to decent and full participation in the life of society and the state for persons in need of care, especially children, and for their great contribution to the development of the social sphere, to the activities of public, humanitarian and charitable bodies, and to the protection of public health, in particular in the provision of medical, health-improvement and rehabilitation assistance.
