On March 22, 2026, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan, A. Bayramov, participated in a children's festival in Tokyo, entitled "Beautiful Land and Spirit of Harmony for Children," organized by the Japanese public organization, FUJISAN Chidama Festa WA.
During the event, Masao Watanabe, Chairman of FUJISAN Chidama Festa WA, congratulated the leadership of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, on the fifth anniversary celebrating the establishment on March 29, which bases its work on the principles of peacefulness and humanism. The Japanese side highly appreciated the sending of humanitarian aid to children in neighboring Iran by the Charitable Foundation on March 13, 2026.
To further strengthen Turkmen-Japanese relations in the humanitarian sphere, the Ambassador invited the leadership of the public organization "FUJISAN Chidama Festa WA", as well as Japanese children, to visit Turkmenistan to personally familiarize themselves with the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
FUJISAN Chidama Festa WA is a Japanese non-profit organization dedicated to cultural diplomacy by promoting peace and peacefulness through children, environmental conservation, and Japanese culture, including cultivating rice paddies and making origami cranes with messages of peace.
