PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN SERDAR BERDIMUHAMEDOV TOOK PART IN THE OPENING OF A NEW HIGH-TECH FACILITY
On July 20, 2022, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the Power Equipment Repair and Service Center built in the Buzmeyin district of the capital.
To the applause of the audience, the President of Turkmenistan cut the traditional ribbon and opened a new facility. Entering the administrative building of the Center, the Head of state proceeded to the conference hall, where a meeting was held.
Addressing the participants of the ceremony and workers of the industry, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that an important facility is being put into operation in the Buzmeyin district of the city of Ashgabat - the Power Equipment Repair and Service Center.
The Center being opened today is of great importance for the industry. It is designed to repair the main equipment of powerful energy facilities built in all regions of the country, which will reduce the time and cost of these services, and will also contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists of the relevant profile, the Head of state noted.
The construction of the Center was carried out by Chalyk Enerji. The Center has introduced advanced technologies of the American company General Electric. With its commissioning, more than 120 jobs have been created here.
Then the floor was given to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chalyk Holding group of companies, Ahmet Chalyk, who stressed that the high-tech Center being commissioned today was built on the initiative of Hero-Arkadag, as well as thanks to the efforts and support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Further, Deputy Head of General Electric Gas Power Europe (USA) Brice Raisin, Representative of The London Energy Club (UK) in the USA Hubert Wilson Watson, Professor of the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy Systems Technology (Germany) Harald Apel, Head of Energy at the branch of TUV (Germany) in the Republic of Austria Anton Lepikson, Professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Federal Republic of Germany) Bernd Reinhold Rosin spoke.
Then, in a solemn ceremony, they presented the appropriate Certificates of permission to use the technologies in the new production complex.
Upon completion of the presentation of the Certificates, a video film was shown to the attention of the President of Turkmenistan and the participants of the ceremony, which allows them to get a visual representation of the activities of the Center, the purpose and main characteristics of its technical equipment.
Then President Serdar Berdimuhamedov toured the workshop, inquiring about its equipment and technologies. Here, the specialists informed the Head of state in detail about the specifics and types of work being carried out.
The President of the country presented the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan with the keys to new official vehicles intended for a new production facility.
After warmly saying goodbye to the participants of the celebration and wishing success in their work to the employees of the Power Equipment Repair and Service Center, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov left the place.
