Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan met with the Director of the Permanent Mission of the Asian Development Bank in Turkmenistan

On 17 May 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag.

As part of the working trip, the National Leader of the Turkmen people met with the Director of the Permanent Mission of the Asian Development Bank in Turkmenistan Arthur Andrisyak.

Expressing sincere gratitude to the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan for his time, the Head of the Permanent Mission of the Asian Development Bank in Turkmenistan reaffirmed ADB's desire to expand fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, warmly welcoming the head of the authoritative international financial institution, stressed that ADB, as a long-standing and reliable partner of Turkmenistan, occupies a special place in the context of relations with international financial institutions.

The Partnership Strategy with Turkmenistan for 2024-2028, approved by the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank and endorsed by the Government of Turkmenistan, is of great importance. As noted by the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, this document is the basis for further development of bilateral cooperation.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people reaffirmed the readiness of the Government of Turkmenistan to closely cooperate with ADB for the practical implementation of this strategy.
