In Turkmenistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the Order “For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation”

In Avaza, during an event dedicated to the preparation of the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the Order “Hyzmatdaşlygy ösdürmäge goşandy üçin” (“For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation”).

The corresponding decree of the President of Turkmenistan was read out by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

This was followed by a solemn ceremony to present Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the state award.

The head of Uzbekistan was awarded this high honour for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the strengthening of friendship, brotherhood and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples, as well as the enhancement of Turkmenistan’s international authority through his state and public activities.
