Turkmenistan strengthens strategic partnership with Turkish and Japanese giants

A number of important bilateral meetings were held during the CIET-2025 international conference, confirming strategic partnership of Turkmenistan with leading companies .

Within the framework of the above-mentioned event, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B. Annamammedov met with Erdem Irsel, Director of the Turkmenistan branch of “Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri” company, and Kenji Sanada, Executive Director of “Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.”.

The meeting with “Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri” was aimed at developing joint projects launched in 2009. The parties discussed the further implementation of the second stage of the gas-to-gasoline plant (GTG-2) in Ahal region and the construction of a new unit for the production of carbamide-formaldehyde concentrate. At the same time, at a meeting with representatives of company “Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.” priority areas of technological cooperation in the field of deep processing of natural gas were highlighted. The parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation in infrastructure modernization and the introduction of low-carbon technologies.

The fact that these meetings were held at such a high level confirms the importance that the Government of Turkmenistan attaches to long-term cooperation with key international partners within the framework of its industrialization and transition to a “green economy” strategy.
