The Working Visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Has Begun

On 5 November 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov departed on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia within the framework of the Aqaba Process on Artificial Intelligence Security.

Established in 2015, the Aqaba Process has established itself as a respected international platform for bringing together efforts to address contemporary challenges. This format brings together heads of state, international experts and executives of technology companies.

In response to the ongoing transformation of global processes, cooperation within the Aqaba Process is currently focused on such pressing issues as digital space protection, ensuring cybersecurity and regulating the field of artificial intelligence. The upcoming high-level summit in Astana, with the participation of the Heads of State of Central Asia, will mark a new stage in cooperation in this important area.

At Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, officials of the friendly country, as well as members of the official delegation of Turkmenistan.
