Turkmenistan and Japan discussed prospects for direct flights

On 13-16 January 2025, representatives of Turkmenistan Airlines visited a number of Japanese agencies and held talks on mutually beneficial issues related to the establishment of direct air service between the two countries.

During the meetings with the aviation authorities of Japan the possibilities of organising cargo flights between Ashgabat and Tokyo were also discussed.
