Participation of the Turkmen delegation in the International Participants Meeting of the World Expo 2025

The delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations B.Gochmollaev, actively participated in an important event - the International Participants Meeting of the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, Japan, from November 14 to 16, 2023.

Within the framework of the event, the delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of key meetings with influential figures such as Mr. Demetrius Kerkenzes, Secretary General of the International Bureau of Exhibitions, Mr. Ishii Taku, Parliamentary Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Mr.Ishige Hiroyuki, Secretary General of the Japan Association of World Expo 2025, as well as representatives of leading Japanese companies.

One of the main topics of discussion was the success of Turkmenistan in preparing for the World Expo 2025. The Japanese side emphasized the importance of Turkmenistan's participation and expressed appreciation for the timely submission of relevant documents.

Noting Turkmenistan's leading role in the preparations for the World Expo-2025, the Japanese side said that all the necessary documents were submitted on time. This emphasizes Turkmenistan's status as a key participant in international events and strengthens the partnership between the two countries.

Special attention was paid to the ceremony of handing over the land for the construction of the National Pavilion. November 16, 2023, was the day when Turkmenistan was officially handed over the land plot. This act is the first among foreign participants of the World Expo 2025, emphasizing the importance of Turkmenistan's role in the global community. The Organizing Committee handed over the relevant document to the Turkmen side in the presence of local and foreign media representatives, which ensured wide coverage of this important moment.
