«Central Asia – Japan» Business Dialogue was held in Tokyo
On 4 July 2024, the second meeting of the Business Dialogue «Central Asia – Japan» organised by the Japanese Association ROTOBO with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan was held.
The dialogue was attended by Ambassadors of Central Asian countries to Japan, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of economic committees created with the countries of Central Asia and delegates from Japanese business circles.
Speaking at the meeting the Turkmen side emphasized the current state of trade and economic relations between the two countries, priority areas of cooperation, favourable conditions created for Japanese companies to conduct business relations in Turkmenistan.
In addition, it was noted that the first Summit of the heads of states of the dialogue «Central Asia – Japan», which is planned to be held in the near future, will fully contribute to the expansion of trade relations between the states of Central Asia and Japan.
During the meeting a Joint Statement on the results of the second meeting of the Business Dialogue «Central Asia – Japan» was signed.
