Schoolchildren of Tokyo were introduced to the history and culture of Turkmenistan

On October 18, 2024 the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan and the Japanese Project “Children Meet Countries” jointly organised a cultural event introducing Turkmenistan to schoolchildren in Tokyo.

During the event, lessons on the history, geography, culture of the country were provided, national music and dances were performed, and an exhibition introducing our national heritage was organised. In particular, stories about the life and impact of Magtymguly Pyragy were told during the educational sessions.

The event was attended by elementary school students from the Tokyo Akashi Elementary School and their parents.
