Ambassador of Turkmenistan attended the 62nd All Japan Aikido Embukai

On May 24, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan H.E. Mr Atadurdy Bayramov attended the 62nd All Japan Aikido Embukai to be organized by Aikikai Foundation in Nippon Budokan (Tokyo city).

The Aikikai Foundation is a public interested incorporated foundation which supports the continuation of Aikido which was created by Morihei Ueshiba. The Aikikai Foundation aims to contribute to the development of physical education and promote the cultivation of body and mind through Aikido, as well as spread and promotion of Aikido.

Japanese martial arts are of great interest in Turkmenistan. Aikido coach Shamuhammed Bailiyev has trained over three and a half thousand fighters in his club “Lachin-Ay”. In October 2018, Shamuhammed Bailiyev was awarded by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan for special merits in the development of Japanese martial arts in Turkmenistan.

Aikido philosophy says that you do not have to conquer the whole world, just conquer yourself and consider that you conquered the whole world.
