A conference dedicated to the results of the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held in Japan

As part of the Expo 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka, a conference dedicated to the results of the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, held during the International Year of Peace and Trust, took place on 29 September 2025 at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan organised by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, the organising committee of the World Expo 2025 and the international community.

Speakers at the conference included the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, A.Bayramov, the representative of the Japan Association for EXPO 2025, H.Nishigaki, and the representative of the Turkmenistan national pavilion.

The conference noted the significance of the visits of the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan to foreign countries, as well as the importance of the policy of strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding in the world in the International Year of Peace and Trust, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country’s Permanent Neutrality, the focus of parliamentary diplomacy on the peaceful, humanistic domestic and foreign policy of the country, the importance of the work of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the history of its activities.

In particular, in his speech, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, A.Bayramov, noted the internal and foreign policies pursued by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people in the direction of the country’s development, the international initiatives put forward at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and the fruitful proposals made at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty.

In addition, conference participants were shown exhibits from the national pavilion of Turkmenistan and introductory videos about our country.
