Quality of communication services improves in rural areas

Turkmen communication companies successfully implement the programme of development of communication systems in remote areas of the country. On occasion of New Year, specialists of Altyn Asyr Closed Joint Stock Venture completed installation and commissioning of 2G and 3G base stations and antennas in twelve settlements of Dashoguz and Balkan Velayats.

Specialists of Altyn Asyr CJSV put into operation the stations working on solar energy in desert areas. Transmitting equipment working on solar batteries has been installed in Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal Velayat. It provides stable mobile connection to the residents of several settlements.

Around 90 residential settlements have been connected to 2G and 3G mobile network in all velayats in 2018.

Altyn Asyr CJSV steadily implements the modernization of equipment and facility base, which allows improving the level of communication service to international standards. 4G network is expanded on LTD technologies. It is planned to place similar stations in all regional administration centres and remoted places of the country in the future.
