Turkmenistan took part in the opening of "EXPO-2020"

The opening ceremony of the World Exhibition "EXPO-2020" took place in the United Arab Emirates. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to the participants of the large-scale forum with a welcoming speech. 

The most anticipated international event welcomed guests from around the world with an unforgettable air show. The aerial parade painted the sky over Dubai in colorful colors. An enchanting continuation of the opening ceremony was the performance of the Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, as well as Arab and Western stars.

More than a hundred states take part in the World Exhibition, among which Turkmenistan occupies a worthy place. The pavilion of our country, decorated in the national style, reflects the traditions and culture of the people. At the entrance to the Turkmen exposition center, guests are greeted by glorious Akhal-Teke horses, this horse breed has been the pride of the nation for many centuries.

The whole variety of achievements of Turkmenistan is covered with the help of multimedia technologies. Video clips telling about the traditions of Turkmen carpet weaving, Akhal-Teke horses and other assets of the Motherland are shown on electronic screens. Once inside the interactive hologram, each guest of the exhibition will be able to see how the “digital” crop of Turkmen cotton and wheat is growing.

The theme of the national pavilion is consonant with the motto of the year "Turkmenistan - Homeland of Peace and Trust".

Guests and delegates of the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the products of Turkmen production, domestic goods and souvenirs in more detail on the National Day of Turkmenistan, which will be held on October 9. The EXPO 2020 will last six months, until the end of March 2022.
