ONLINE CONFERENCE "DIALOGUE IS A GUARANTEE OF PEACE"

On February 22, 2022, the online conference "Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace" was organized by the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO. The event is timed to coincide with the initiative of Turkmenistan to create a new philosophy of modern international relations called "Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace", which was put forward by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The conference held in a digital format, was attended by the specialists from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the Directorate of the Peace Fund of Turkmenistan, Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, National Council of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, as well as by the teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​named after Dovletmammed Azadi and the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli.

Speakers at the conference noted that Turkmenistan is on a peaceful path of moving towards a bright future, is aligned to unite efforts aimed at developing the authority of our country in the international arena, expanding the peace-loving policy of the esteemed President, promoting peace and unity of the peoples of all countries, strengthening peace and harmony.

According to the speakers, the international initiatives put forward by the President of Turkmenistan, the peaceful foreign policy pursued by him, the friendly and fraternal relations established by him with the countries of the world today attract the attention of the world community; the wise, far-sighted policy of the Leader of the Nation recognized throughout the world enjoys universal support.

It was also noted in the speeches that the new book of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Abadançylygyn röwşen gadamlary", recently presented to the Turkmen people, covering the history of Turkmen diplomacy, achievements in the domestic and foreign policy of our state, which also outlines clear and principled approaches to key issues of modern development, such as maintaining and strengthening global peace, stability and security, is important not only for a wide range of readers and students, but will also serve as an important guide for all citizens of our country.

At the end of the videoconference, the participants expressed congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Myalikgulyevich Berdimuhamedov with the award of the distinction sign "Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomacy", awarded by the resolution of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan, and also wished him success in his multifaceted work on further development of the international prestige of our country.
