TURKMENISTAN DELEGATION ATTENDED THE XV WORLD FORESTRY CONGRESS IN SEOUL

The XV World Forestry Congress on the ministerial level began its work on 2 May 2022 in Seoul. Participants from 144 countries took part in this international event, which included ministers and heads of international organizations, members of scientific communities, ambassadors and diplomats working in Seoul and representatives of media attended the event. The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the forum via videoconferencing.

A special plenary session named “High-level meeting between Republic of Korea - Central Asia” was arranged within the framework of the Congress, where the heads of the agriculture spheres from the Central Asian countries and Korea took part.

During the video message, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment Protection of Turkmenistan A. Altyev emphasized that under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan our country through promotion of ecology diplomacy widely implements the principles of "green" economy in all spheres, and the protection of the environment is one of the most important directions of state policy.
