On the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
On October 10-11, events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Japan were held in Turkmenabat, the capital of Lebap velayat of the country.
As part of the program planned for this day, which paved the way for friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, the "Kämil" restaurant of the "Döwrebap" trade center of the city hosted a demonstration of Japanese cuisine. The preparation of Japanese sushi by the Japanese guests made a special impression on those present.
Then the participants of the events dedicated to this day watched Japanese films in the cultural center of Turkmenabat. In its framework, the films "This Summer's Movie" and "Brave Father in the System: Our History - Fantasy Finale" were shown.
The next day, a study conference was held at the 35th high school specialized in the Japanese language, with the participation of Japanese representatives who came to our country to participate in the events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of Turkmen-Japanese relations. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroyuki Yamamoto also took part in the event. Guests were welcomed with salt, bread and a smile typical of Turkmen hospitality. In the course of it, discussions were held about the continuous development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation, the Japanese language and its importance in the development of mutual relations. The songs performed by the school students in Japanese, the music performed by the guests on the Japanese national musical instrument, and the guests playing their own musical instruments while joining the Turkmen music performed here became proof of the closeness of the arts. Then the ceremonial events continued in the Seyitnazar Seydi State Musical Drama Theater. During the 2-part event called "Masuri (Festival) - 30", the participants watched the performances of artists from friendly countries. During the impressive concert, national Japanese music, folk songs and Japanese national dances were performed on the three-stringed samisai national musical instrument. The warm reception of the performances of the Japanese guests by those present was a testimony to the high level of skill of the performers, the fact that art is close to the hearts, regardless of their nationality and language, as well as the unbreakable friendship between the two peoples.
