Issues of tourism cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan were discussed

On November 24, 2023, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with Kunihiko Ebina, President of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA).

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the issues of tourism of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.

Ambassador A.Bayramov noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the use of international experience and achievements in improving the tourism system, highlighting the effective nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in this direction.

An indicative example is the yearly increase in the number of Japanese tourists visiting Turkmenistan.

In the organisation of the Japan Travel Agencies Association the importance of training exchange programmes between Turkmen and Japanese travel companies were emphasized.
