Perspective of partnership between Turkmenistan and Netherlands in shipbuilding sphere discussed

Improvement of trade and economic relations have been discussed at online talks, which were held in the Ministry of Finances and Economy with representatives of Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, the Kingdom of Netherlands. Management of Türkmendeňizderýaýollary Agency has also taken part in the meeting.

It was highlighted that numerous projects aimed at modernization and innovative renovation of all spheres of national economy are implemented in the country. it opens wide perspectives for expansion of the presence of foreign business circles in dynamically developing Turkmen market, where favourable investment market has been established.

Making bet on attraction of the best world practice, Turkmenistan is interested in attraction of experience of the leading European companies that have modern technologies and scientific and technical innovations. In this context, opportunities of cooperation with Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, which is specialized in design and construction of vessels for each market section starting from tug boats to luxury yachts, have been reviewed.

Having confirmed mutual desire for establishment of long-term partnership, the participants of the webinar discussed specific directions of partnership as well as perspectives of implementation of joint projects in related branches including in shipbuilding sphere.
