On September 14, 2015 in Vienna, member States of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) adopted a resolution on approval of Turkmenistan to the member of the IAEA during the 59th session of the General conference of this Organization. The member States of the IAEA commended Turkmenistan's commitment to principles of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons in the world, including in the region of Central Asia.

On August 6, 2015 in the afternoon, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived to the Republic of Turkey on the working visit.

March 14,2015 President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the Third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai. During his stay in Japan, the President  made a State Call on His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, and  held a meeting with Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan.During the visit also was held ceremony of conferring the academic degree of Honorary Doctor of the University of Tsukuba to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On 4th and 5th October, our embassy participated in Global festa2014 held in Hibiya Park and introduced our country and culture. Students belonging to Tokyo University and students from Turkmenistan  helped to introduce Turkmenistan. Many people visited our booth and got information about Turkmenistan.
