A Japanese TV series “Gochiso-san” starts in Turkmen Television

On 15 August 2022, the screening of the Japanese multiseries “Gochiso-san” will begin in Turkmenistan Television.

The Japan Foundation presents this popular drama as part of activities to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.

Produced by the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), the series has been well received in many countries of the world. The drama is set in Tokyo and Osaka in the first half of the 20th century. The series takes up the themes of love and ... food, which are close to everyone's heart.

The name “Gochiso-san” is a phrase that the Japanese say out loud or in their hearts after eating as a sign of gratitude.

Date and time of the broadcast of the series from 13:30 to 15:15 every Monday and Tuesday.
