Cultural Exchange Exhibitions at the University of Tsukuba in Japan

With the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, a series of cultural exchange exhibitions were held at the University of Tsukuba from September 30 to October 4. These exhibitions aimed to share the rich culture of Turkmenistan and commemorate the “The Fount of the Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi” year, which marks the international celebration of the 300th birth anniversary and honoring the heritage of the renowned thinker and Eastern classic, Magtymguly Fragi.

During the exhibitions, international students had the unique opportunity to try on traditional Turkmen clothing, experiencing firsthand the vibrant textile art representing the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan. Attendees also explored the legacy of Magtymguly Fragi through books that included Japanese translations of his poems. These works provided valuable insights into his thoughts and ideas, encouraging students to reflect on the significance of his teachings, values and wisdom.
