Secondary School № 140 of Ashgabat city received a gift of books from the Japanese association “Kasumi Kaikan”

On November 10, 2025, Mr. Sasaki Hiroshi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan, visited Secondary School № 140 of Ashgabat city.

During the visit, books about Japan were presented by the Kasumi Kaikan association as part of the “Kasumi Kaikan Book Donation Program”.

Students and teachers studying Japanese attended the ceremony.

Performances by students in grades 1 through 12 added a festive atmosphere to the event, including singing Japanese songs, dancing, and reciting poetry.

Thanks to the presented books, the students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of Japan.
