MEETINGS WITH THE SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE JAPANESE PARLIAMENT

On March 2, 2022, in the building of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) of Japan, Ambassador G. Elyasov met with the Chairman of the Parliamentary League of Japanese-Turkmen Friendship, Chairman of the Electoral Strategy Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) of Japan Endo Toshiaki.

On the same day, Ambassador G. Elyasov met with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan Kiuchi Minoru. The meeting was also attended by State Minister of Cabinet Office, Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan Hitoshi Kikawada and other influential members of the Parliament of Japan.

During the meetings, the parties gave an overview of bilateral cooperation and stressed that the development of inter-parliamentary contacts opens up new opportunities for strengthening the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.
