The aspects of cooperation with the International university sports federation discussed in Ashgabat
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the delegation of the International university sports federation (FISU), headed by Oleg Matytsin, the FISU President, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit.

The meeting participants called for the establishment of direct relations between the FISU and sports institutions in our country. Oleg Matytsin, who visited the Olympic Village, expressed the admiration with the modern complex of sports facilities, underlining that these units meet the high international standards and can host the world competitions.
According to the FISU President, the success of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat in September, 2017 proves that Turkmenistan ranks among the leading positions in the global sports movement, enhancing the role of sports diplomacy in the international relations.
