Winners of the “Women of the Year 2020” contest are announced
On March 2, the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan hosted the ceremony of awarding the winners of the "Woman of the Year" contest, which is traditionally held by the Union of Women of Turkmenistan on the eve of the holiday - March 8.
The contest is aimed at raising the social status of women, revealing their personal potential and professional growth.
The festive event, held on the eve of the International Women's Day, brought together the representatives of all regions of Turkmenistan. The winners were determined in seven nominations: "For high professional skills", "For restoration and preservation of the art of national artistic handcrafts", "For popularization of spiritual values and national cultural heritage", "For achievements in upbringing of children", "For the work to strengthen the defense of the country and the rule of law in society", "For contribution to the development of villages", "For success in entrepreneurship".
Among the main criteria for selecting the winners were: high professionalism, innovative and creative approach to business, active citizenship, preservation and promotion of the national heritage, education of the younger generation in the best traditions of the Turkmen people. The video clip illustrated the story of each of the finalists, their work biographies, their talents as a mother and keeper of the hearth, as well as social activities.
Perzana Babayeva, the Head of the Department for Work with Employees and Local Authorities of Serahs Etrap Khyakimlik was the best in the nomination "For high professional skills”.
Aynagozel Suvhanova, a carpet-maker at the Sakarchaga carpet-making workshop of the Mary enterprise of art carpet making, won the nomination "For restoration and preservation of the art of national art crafts".
Durjemal Chanlyeva, senior lecturer at the Department for Wind and Drum Instruments of Maya Kulieva National Conservatory of Turkmenistan, was the best in the nomination "For popularization of spiritual values and national cultural heritage".
Bahargul Yazyeva, an expert in resuscitation at the Center for Mother and Child Health Protection of Dashoguz Velayat, was announced as the winner in the nomination "For achievements in upbringing children".
Charming Arzygul Mammedova, commander deputy on educational work of a military unit in Lebap Velayat, received the award in the nomination "For the work on strengthening the defense of the country and the rule of law in society”.
Shabibi Gokiyeva, a tenant of the Purnuvar Peasant Association of Serdar Etrap in Balkan Velayat was the best in the category "For contribution to the development of villages".
For her creative approach to business and business talent, representative of Mary Velayat Gurbanjemal Anagylydjova was the best in the nomination "For success in entrepreneurship".
