WORKING MEETING WAS HELD ON ACCESSION TO UN INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTS

On April 22, 2020, a working meeting was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on joining the UN international documents. The meeting was held at the level of deputy ministers of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the state sector of Turkmenistan, including the ministries of foreign affairs, justice, construction and architecture, finance and economics, etc.

During the meeting, participants focused on enhancing the international cooperation of Turkmenistan in the field of sustainable transport. In this context, the parties considered the issue of our country's accession to significant international documents of the United Nations in the field of transport.

As was noted during the meeting, at the current stage of development of our country, the strategy for the development of the transport industry is consolidated by the efforts of the international community. Turkmenistan occupies a favorable geopolitical position in this direction, and the country has enormous opportunities for comprehensive implementation.
