REPRESENTATIVES OF TURKMENISTAN AND UNICEF MET TO DISCUSS THE DRAFT OF JOINT DOCUMENT
On May 1, 2020, a meeting took place in the MFA of Turkmenistan between the representatives of a number of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and the representatives of UNICEF with the aim of discussing the Draft Country Programme Document (CPD) for cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNICEF for the period 2021 to 2025.
The representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry, Institute of the State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, State Committee for Statistics, as well as the representatives of the UNICEF Office in Turkmenistan discussed the key aspects of the given Document and exchanged expert views.
The participants noted that the specified Document is aimed to contribute to further cooperation of Turkmenistan with UNICEF for the promotion of health and well-being of children, and will become a vital link in the process of attaining the 2030 Agenda.
