MEETING BETWEEN THE REPRESENTATIVES OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND

On the 19th of November 2020, a meeting took place via videoconferencing between the Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Jepbarov and the delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by Natalia Tamirisa. 

During the meeting, the issues of bilateral cooperation in the area of economy and finances were discussed. The parties paid special accent to the necessity of activating relations between Turkmenistan and IMF on involving investments in prospective projects aimed at the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.  In this regard, the participants of the meeting especially noted the efficiency of relations based on the principles of mutual trust and respect.    

The participants also underlined the need to unite the efforts directed to the development of collaboration between Turkmenistan and the International Monetary Fund.
