INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER ORGANIZED AN ONLINE TRAINING ON COMMERCIAL DIPLOMACY
On October 13, 2021, a three-day online training on commercial diplomacy and trade negotiations organized by International Trade Center within the framework of the Ready4Trade Central Asia Project has started.
The training is attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, as well as ICT representatives.
The Ready4Trade Central Asia project aims to develop intraregional and international trade in the region by enhancing the transparency of cross-border requirements, removing regulatory and procedural barriers, strengthening business capability to comply with trade formalities and standards, as well as by improving cross-border E-commerce.
This training provides an opportunity to discuss the practical aspects of commercial diplomats’ work and the work of trade policy makers, including development of negotiations strategy, as well as the ongoing trade activities of our country in accordance with the «Programme of the Development of Foreign Economic Activities of Turkmenistan for 2020-2025». In addition, the training will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss topics related to accession to the World Trade Organization, the benefits of WTO membership, the WTO accession process and results, as well as economic policy.
The online training will continue its work until October 15.
