The head of the Turkmen delegation, highlighting the measures implemented by the Government to comprehensively support the vital activities of the national economy, also discussed the possibilities of cooperation within the framework of the Turkmenistan Preparedness and Response Plan for an acute infectious disease, including the search for joint solutions and the development of anti-crisis policies.

In addition, a podium discussion was held during the session on the measures taken by the Governments of Central Asian countries to support the national economy and restore the private sector.

The meeting participants also took part in a survey devoted to the problems associated with the coronavirus crisis and ways to overcome them. After the survey, an open discussion took place, where the participants expressed their views on further actions to support small and medium-sized enterprises after the crisis and on the possible impact of the crisis on medium and long-term SME policy priorities.
